Action Training’s journey with Web.com began back in May 2017 when we designed them an eCommerce website, so that they could take online bookings and payments for their courses. As the business began to expand, they generated more revenue and decided they wanted to put this into a marketing budget and be present on search engines when browsers were searching on the web for their services.

The challenge ahead

Web.com had previously built MJ’s an attractive, functional and customised WordPress website back in October 2018 which they were extremely happy with. Now they had this in place they wanted to launch an aggressive and effective multi-channel marketing strategy including SEO, PPC and Facebook to increase their brand awareness online and drive enquiries to their website. Web.com managed all three aspects and the brief for the business’s SEO campaign was simple: boost their rankings across the major search engines including Google and Bing.

Solution

Action Training decided to go for Web.com’s Pro Plus SEO package which focuses on enhancing search results for 15 chosen keywords. Before defining a strategy, we fully analysed the site (and their key competitor) for technical issues to be fixed and began optimising pages for relevant keywords. We then moved on to content marketing, creating new, user-friendly site content and fresh blog articles.

A dedicated Account Manager (Mike) was assigned to work closely with the business. Mike regularly went out to speak with the client face-to-face to ensure we understood their objectives.

Looking to the future

Action Training’s SEO campaign will continue to run, and their keywords will build up even more strength and hopefully climb the rankings. They have recently increased their monthly budget for PPC, so this will continue to attract even more visitors and enquiries to the website. For 2019, the business is looking forward to more significant growth and they are confident they will continue to see great results working with Web.com.
